Smart Robot Skills — digital training for ABB industrial robotics professionals.
1. Subject of Sale
Smart Robot Skills (Piotr Ozga, sole proprietorship) sells digital educational content for ABB industrial robot integrators, currently offered in the following format:
Digital tools and starter kits (instant download) — the product currently sold. Pre-built RAPID code, configuration files, and related educational materials, delivered as an instant digital download immediately after payment. Sold on smartrobotskills.com; payments are processed by Creem, acting as our Merchant of Record.
Online courses and training modules (planned) — not yet offered for sale. When launched, access will be provided through the Teachable platform (video materials, PDF files, exercise files). This section of the Refund Policy will apply to that product line once it goes live; it does not currently apply to any purchase.
No physical version of any product exists.
2. Private Purchases (B2C) — Individuals
Legal Basis
Consumers in the EU have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days in accordance with:
- Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights)
- Directive 2019/770/EU (Digital Content)
- Polish Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights (Journal of Laws 2014, item 827)
Waiver of the Right of Withdrawal
Before completing payment, the customer is shown a notice on the product page and/or at checkout stating that:
- the purchase grants immediate access to digital content, and
- by proceeding with the purchase, the customer expressly consents to this immediate access and acknowledges that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
A confirmation of this consent and acknowledgment is included in the automatic purchase receipt / confirmation e-mail sent after payment.
Pursuant to Art. 38(13) of the Polish Act on Consumer Rights (implementation of Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU), the above results in the loss of the right of withdrawal.
Exceptions — When a Refund Is Possible (B2C)
- The customer has not accessed or downloaded any material within 14 days of purchase → full refund.
- Technical error on our part (no access, corrupted files) → full refund or re-access.
3. Business Purchases (B2B) — VAT Invoice
Legal Basis
Purchases made by business entities (companies or sole traders purchasing for business purposes, identified by VAT/company details at checkout) are not subject to consumer protection regulations.
The provisions of the Polish Civil Code apply (contract of sale between businesses).
B2B Refund Rules
| Situation | Refund? |
|---|---|
| Change of mind after purchase | No |
| Access to the purchased content | No |
| Technical error preventing access (our fault) | Yes — full refund or re-access |
| Duplicate purchase of the same product by mistake | Yes — full refund for the duplicate |
4. Bundle Purchases
Not currently applicable — the Commissioning Starter Kit is sold as a single package, not as a bundle of separately purchasable modules.
If a bundled product is introduced in the future, the right of withdrawal will be assessed separately for each module, with each module treated as a separate digital product. Detailed refund conditions for any future bundle will be clearly stated on the purchase page at the time of ordering and form an integral part of the transaction. For B2B purchases (company invoice), bundle conditions may be further specified in a separate agreement between the parties.
